Jeannine Koch
Jeannine Koch, a certified media consultant and Berlin native, started to deal with (digital) media and the music world at an early age.
Since her teenage years, she has been working as presenter and music editor for various media undertakings. Also during her university years, English / American Studies and Modern German Philology, she was able to expand her extensive network and acquire more in-depth knowledge while working for Universal Music, Berliner Zeitung and Telekom, among others.
In 2008, in the course of completing a master's degree in International Communications, she joined Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, for one year.
After graduating in Berlin in 2010, she took over the management of the marketing & communications department of a Berlin shoe label. From 2012 to 2017, as marketing and communications director for the first International Garden Exhibition in Berlin, she defined important and future-oriented trends in the development of digital communication and the modern perception of a traditional "garden exhibition" brand. Since January 2018, Jeannine Koch has been the director of re:publica, Europe’s largest internet and digital society conference.
